Come and make a one-of-a-kind set of earrings and matching necklace in our UV resin class. We have three different colors of metal to choose from:

Each kit includes three bezels and earring kits that you can fill. Class supplies will be provided and include the UV resin and flashlights you will use to cure your creations.
This class lasts 1 hour and the class kits are $30 each. The kits will be delivered and handed out at the beginning of class.

You CAN Paint on Silk! – Jo Watts – Jo Watts, SilkSmith
Supplied are all materials to paint a 15″ piece of silk which can be used as a neck scarf, a work of art to proudly display, or a gift for someone special. In this class students will learn step-by-step how to make a work of art this size or even bigger. I teach you how to make a frame and stretch the silk, how to lay out your design and draw it on the fabric and how to lay in the colors with silk paint. I’ll also show students techniques that will make their artworks special and unique.
This size scarf takes about 2 hours to complete (the 15″ X 60″ scarves, my most common size, take about two days).
Bring nothing but yourselves and your imagination. If you aren’t comfortable with drawing, you can trace. If you should happen to have a picture you like, bring it – keep it simple for your first time. I’ll have sample patterns, but If I don’t have one that you like, I can draw something special you will love. Don’t let the fear of drawing keep you away – you will LOVE what you accomplish! I promise!
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a place. Walk-ins will be accepted if spaces are available.

Triangle Loom Continuous Strand Weaving Hat Making – Karen Davis – Entwined Fiber and Wire
In this class, you will learn how to use a triangle loom to create a wonderful beanie-type hat using continuous strand weaving and some special finishing techniques!
7 student maximum per class
Prerequisite: All you need is a desire to learn!
Things to bring: You are welcome to bring your own special bulky yarn, pompoms and/or buttons.
Instructor provided: All materials will be supplied by the instructor. Yarn will be provided as part of the kit fee. Pompoms and buttons will be provided for sale. Triangle looms will be for use in the class but also available for purchase.

Weave Like a Viking – Karen Davis – Entwined Fiber and Wire
In this class, you will learn the ancient art of Viking weave using a dowel rod and thin wire. Viking weave is an ancient form of circular wire weaving which is not actually made of links of chain but rather loops of woven wire. The end goal will be to complete a bracelet length of chain that will then be embellished with beads (if desired) and finished by adding fasteners. Adventurous souls may want to continue their weaving in order to make a necklace-length chain. Dowels, wire, beads and fasteners will be provided. 10 students maximum.

Needle Felt Landscape – Marti Swanson – Marti Swanson Artisan
Painting with wool! Learn the basics of 2-d needle felting while creating your own original landscape. We will be making 6’x6′ mini landscapes using a variety of wool types, silk, nepps and other embellishments. Bring a couple of photos for inspiration. You will be amazed at the results! This is a 5 hour class. We will take a short break in the middle. Feel free to brink a snack and drink.

Make & Take Fiber Fun – Martin Swanson – Marti Swanson Artisan
Marti is offering a day of Make-N-Takes with a variety of felting projects ranging in cost from $15 – $35. Most projects require less than an hour to complete.
Projects to choose from include wet felt eggs, wet felt soap, needle felt cacti, needle felt flowers and more. Payment is day of the event. No preregistration required. All ages are invited, so stop by and come play!

Basic Kumihimo – Mary Cresson – M Adele
Kumihimo is the art of Japanese braiding. This class will teach you the very basic technique on which you can build more intricate designs. Mary will provide the disc, cords needed, and written instructions for you.

Afterthought Heel and Toe Class – Tammy Conolly – Bashful Armadillo Fibers
Learn how to turn a knitted tube into socks! You’ll be taught how to determine the placement of heel, toe and cuff, and knit them.
